Urban Canine Prep
With the AKC Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine tests under their belt, it is now time to see if your dog is ready to be well-behaved in the big city! They will be after they take this course!
COURSE DETAILS
Urban living presents some interesting challenges for dogs: elevators, cramped spaces, bustling streets, food and other items strewn about that they will need to ignore, lots of strange noise and overall chaos!
Since more and more people who live in cities are sharing their lives with canine companions, the AKC put together the Urban Canine test to ensure these dogs have the skills they need to be successful in these challenging environments.
In this 6-week course, we will build upon all the skills your dog already knows by heart and build upon them. Using fun and engaging training games, we will help your dog understand how they can navigate not only the test items, but city life as a whole.
